HILLVIEW COMMUNITY TRAIL
The Victorian Schools Cycling Championships (VSCC), have been held at Dromana Secondary College for the last two years. It has been a huge success with over 150 kids racing last year and increased numbers expected this year. The track has been developed over the last 20 years with the backing from the School and Mornington Peninsula Shire (MPS). In the last two years over 800 man hours of volunteer labour has been provided by Red Hill Riders Mountain Bike Club. The trail was named the 'Hillview Trail', in recognition of the local Hillview Quarry’s donation of materials, and has been a big asset to both the community as well as the school.

“I congratulate you and your members on the many initiatives your club have implemented over the last few years. I am most impressed by your willingness to work with Council, the community and other departments and agencies, such as Park Victoria, to get outcomes that improve mountain biking opportunities on the Mornington Peninsula whilst at the same time having regard for community and environmental impacts.”
